REUNION REPORT
We had our Golden Eagles Houston 2025 Reunion (for ALL Golden Eagles members nationwide), on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day).
It was held at the Sawyer Park Icehouse (near The Woodlands, TX), and it was a huge success on many levels. Everyone was pleased with seeing old friends, and the venue, food, drinks and weather were superb. The only complaint is that there was little time to talk and catch up to so many friends.
Many thanks to the many Kingwood LAC volunteers and wives who helped plan and run this reunion. Special thanks go out to your name tag ladies: Lois Atteberry, Jamie Doherty, Martha Machemehl and Ok Su Sprague. Also to Tom Doherty for helping out. Many thanks to Ann Reiser, Pete Ramsey, and Bill Bella for taking photos.
We had one casualty: Lon Cottingham went out on an EMT gurney...but outside they said he was ok and has been at home doing just fine.
We had 247 confirmed guests signed up to come to the reunion, but only about 211 showed up. About a dozen guests could not come due to the FAA flight cancellations or last minute medical situations.
Based on name tags that were left over and not used, the final guest list link is below. Check over this list and let us know if your name is missing (OR if you were NOT at the reunion), so we can update this list.
We will see you at the next Golden Eagles event!
