DEPARTURE TAXES AND FEES
All pass riders, regardless of seniority, have to pay departure taxes and fees.
These usually accrue when departing foreign countries.
You can determine such charges before listing by using the Pass Calculator in employeeRES>QuickLinks.
Here is a graphic of the GCM-IAH segment, showing a $64.65 charge for Cayman Islands terminal fee, departure tax, pax svc charge and security tax when using a Vacation Pass.

In the third step (Select Payment) during listing in employeeRES, you can click on the little blue “i” icon (for info) near the top right, where it says Total Cost: $75.15.
An “employeeRES” pop-up box will appear with the breakdown of charges. See graphic below.
In this case the charge is $10.50 MORE than $64.65 because I listed with a personal pass instead of a vacation pass during step two. Pass riders do not have to pay U.S. Customs and APHIS fees when using a vacation pass as in the Pass Calculator illustration above (where I selected “Vacation” from the ePass Charge drop-down menu).
